Location:-95 kms from Jaipur, On Jaipur-Agra Road

Abhaneri is a little town village, located at a distance of ninety-five km from Jaipur, on Jaipur-Agra road. The place is well-liked for the astonishing 'Baoris' (step wells) and Harshat Mata Temple.

The village of Abhaneri is considered to be well-known by the King Raja Chand. At first Abhaneri was called as Abha Nagri, which way the city of vividness, but due to mispronunciation of the term, it is varied to the present name.

In the present day, this city of brilliance is in ruins; still it attracts tourists from across the world. Abhaneri is outstanding for 'Baoris', which are the sole invention of the natives for gleaning rain water. Amongst the other step wells, Chand Baori is the most well-liked one. This prodigious step well is located in front of the Harshat Mata Temple. An annual fair is also planned in honor of Harshat Mata which continues for 3 days.

Chand Baori is one of India's most mysterious and biggest step wells. The enormous tank with fragile carvings is surely charming to the eyes.
